Course Members & Settings
Add Course Members
-
Open your course and click the “Members” tab.

-
You can add new users using one of the following approaches:
i) Add course users one by one
Click “Add Course Member”.

Enter the user’s email.

Fill in the details and click “Create & Add”. You may leave “Default Password” empty to generate a random password and email it to the user. Select the user role (student or admin).

ii) Import students from a CSV file (batch)
Click “Add/Drop Member”.

In the Add/Drop Member wizard, click “Batch import from .csv”.

Student lists can be exported in CSV format from PolyU’s eAcademic platform: https://www38.polyu.edu.hk/eAcademic

The CSV file should contain at least the following columns: Email, Name in English, Student Status (only students with “Active” status will be added).

You may assign a default password for the imported users. Alternatively, leave it empty and the system will generate a random password and email it to members.

Finally, preview the changes and click “Apply” to enroll the members.

Remarks:
- Students should use their email (
[studentID]@connect.polyu.hk) as the username to access the system. - Students who already registered should use their existing password.
