Getting Started for Students

GPTutor is a generative AI-powered platform that enhances the student learning experience at HK PolyU. It provides a conversational interface for asking questions and deepening your understanding of your course materials.

Note: GPTutor is a learning aid. Responses may be incomplete or inaccurate—use your course materials as the source of truth for assessments and important decisions.

Go to https://gptutor.comp.polyu.edu.hk/  and click “Get Started”.

Note: The current release is not optimized for small mobile screens. Please use a desktop/laptop with Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Log in with your username and password. You should change the password after your first login.

Note: Students may use their student ID (e.g., 12345678D) or PolyU email ([studentID]@connect.polyu.hk) as the username to log in.

If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password?” to reset it.

You can switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode.
